Familie

I got to know my little niece Rebecca a bit better when my husband and I moved to The Hague in 2016 with our young kids. Rebecca was 17. One afternoon, after having visited the Museon with her and our son, she told me about her activities on the board of Habonim and her wish to move to Israel after highschool. Already at that age she was self confident and full of ideals. After she moved to Israel we haven’t seen much of each other which I have always regretted. I am grateful that through this website we get the chance to getting to know the intriguing young woman that she had become a little better. I am proud for having such a stubborn idealist in my family. If the world needs anything today, it is stubborn idealists. We miss you Rebecca. The world misses you. I will proudly take your idealism and your nuanced activism forward.
